- Whom and when the idea has come to to create a band?
- The idea started at the end of 1996, when Vladimir (guitar) and Gustavo (bass) weren't playing with their old bands anymore, Os Cervejas and Os Missionarios had stopped, so they decided to join just to make a few songs and maybe record it someday, but they didn't have any pretension to make live concerts or something like that. So they got a drummer to do it, Marcio, the singer of Os Cervejas, but he just spent a few months on the band, then they got a new drummer, Coxinha, that used to play on Os Cervejas too, and many other Psychobilly and Punk bands from his area. After the line up being concluded, they already had a few songs, and before they do the first gig, they were invited by the English labels Fury & Nervous Records to play on the 10th edition of the biggest Psychobilly festival in the world, the Big Rumble, and to record 3 songs to put on their compilations, since then, they knew that the band weren't suppose only to rehearse and record something, there were something much bigger coming on, so they did a battery of gigs on their area before heading to England, and after the festival, the English labels proposed them to release their own album, Little Bits of Insanity, that was released in 98 by Fury Records! - How much person in group? The structure varied (The people in group
varied?)
- The band has 3 members. As I said on the last answer, in the beginning there was another drummer that spent only a few months in the band, Marcio Tadeu.
- Tell about itself, when and where you were born? City, in which one you live?
- Gus is from 1969, 32 years old, and he was born in Curitiba. Vlad was born in Curitiba too, in 12/12/1971. And Cox was born in Recife, a city in the
northeast of Brazil, in 17/08/1979. Now, the entire band lives in Curitiba, in the state of Parana, in the south of Brazil.
- Who has invented a title to a command, whether there is a translation for a title on English?
- If I understood well, Gus and Vlad invented the name of the band. Os Catalepticos, it's something like The Cataleptics. It's the person who has catalepsy, a disease where the body has all the symptoms of a dead person, but still alive. The mostly cataleptics end up
being buried alive.
- Played any projects up to Os Catalepticos?
- There's a project to release a live record by the Japanese label Revel Yell Music, but there's nothing concrete yet, and the band are booked to play on the LA Big Rumble, and to do a tour in the USA, but due to the incidents that is happening in the world now,
we're not sure whether we'll go or not. A song is to be released on an American compilation, Rock'n'Roll Purgatory. And on another American compilation called Kicked out from Purgatory.

- Your attitude to other styles (Rockabilly, Surf, Ska, Punk, Oi!), what listen now?
- As it's listed on the last answer, we always liked a lot this other styles, we have no prejudice with any of them! And about any other style, only Cox listen to some Metal (not everything!).
- Favorites in Psycho? And in other music?

- Gorilla it's a very good one! Dead KingsЕ hahahaha! A great young and old band! Godless Wicked Creeps, Astro Zombies, The Cenobites, Milwaukee Wildmen, they're not so new, but a kind ofЕ The French Monster Club is a cool one too, Mosquito and Bad

- Your attitude to the musical pirates? For example, in Russia the musical piracy is eurysynusic. Even that Psychobilly CD in Russia is few, because this music not commercial, and if is sold of the majority of the people no a capability to gain the license CD (for us
they very expensive). Whether how you consider it is possible to diffuse piracy records so that the style has not died? Or the purpose does
not justify a means.
- I think that in parts, it's good, because the prices of the CD's are too high for us too, but in another way, it's terrible for the owners of the songs, but nowadays, it's impossible to control it, a lot of people already can do it at home, so there's no way back!
- Whether often for you pass rehearsals, or you do not rehearse in general?
- There was a time that we used to practice every day, but now we do it 3 times a week. Sometimes 4, sometimes 2, depend on the week and on what we have planned to do.
- On rehearsals there are no combats between you? > =) Often argue among themselves?
- Almost never! Sometimes when we're making songs, or something that we need a choice, but we usually resolve the problems with no discussions!
- Who writes the texts and music for songs?
- Not all, but most of the lyrics are written by Gus, and the music is done by the "three of us".
-What themes usualy you use in songs?
- Mostly the usual Psychobilly themes! Mainly horror, sometimes with humor, death, sex, violence, beer, bloodЕ pleasant things in life!
-From real, horror films, legends, folk stories or fairytales =) ?
- We usually make the stories, but sometimes its based on a movie, like Henry, Cannibal Holocaust and Zombio, or horror movie heroes, like in The Cursed, that is a homage to Coffin Joe (Ze do Caixao), a legend of Brazilian horror movies.
- In life you the friends or only partners by command?
- We were friends before putting up the band, and we're still friends. I think that is impossible not to be friends, we spend too much time together, and if we weren't friends the band wouldn't even exist.
- You earn only by music or you have main work? In Russia it is impossible to earn, playing Psychobilly. All our musicians have main works.
- It's the same for us, impossible to survive only with Psychobilly. All of us have a main work.
- Your attitude to drinks, use? Favorites in drinks?
- Yeah, we use! Gus and Cox are beer addicts! And Vlad's for Jack Daniel's!
- How much you use per day of alcohol?
- Depends, if we're not working, it could be all day longЕ
- Attitude to narcotics.
- I think each person has its own choice, if you like it, why not? If you don't, just don't do it! Everybody's going to die someday, so enjoy yourself!
- To have a meal like? A liked dish? >=)

- No politics!
- Your shows very much impress, you in life same or you it is impossible to distinguish in crowd from the remaining people.

- You have dream? Tell about it. That want to achieve in music?
- It's quite impossible, but I would like to live only by music, and don't work anymore!
- What you use in home- CDs, vinyl or tapes ? Why ?
- The 3! What we don't have in vinyl or CD, we record on tape! But I prefer vinyl! Besides the sound on vinyl is much better, stronger, with more high and low, the covers are much cooler bigger!!
- You have sent on a planet Zorch, on the very slow spacecraft... What CD, vinyl with itself will take (albums of groups, compilation)? And what thing will take in a road (most liked)?
- Cox: The Meteors "Teenagers From Outer Space", "The Mutant Monkey and the Surfers from Zorch", "Bastard Sons of a R'n'R Devil" and a cool chick on the road! With lots of pot and beer!
- Gus: Mad Sin "Collection", Godless Wicked Creeps "Hellcoholic" and Cock Sparrer "Collection".
- Vlad : Vinyls, lot's of vinylsЕ with girls singing and at least two girls on the space craft !

- Cox: condoms!

- Lots of things can change, people, bandsЕ but the spirit never dies!
- There is a desire to arrive to Russia? What complexities arise at organization of such measure (performances in far country)?
- Of course! We would love to do it! We almost did it on the first "real tour", but the main problem was, is, and always will be the money! It's too fucking expensive for us to go there, so we couldn't afford it! It has to be in a very good organization, and maybe with lots of gigs, so everything can be paid.
- In performances take pleasure or this activity tires you?
- We always take pleasure! It only tires when we can't feel our fingers anymore!

- Different thoughts, different tastes, or he just doesn't know how to enjoy his life!
- Whether there is in Brasil some more group which one play style Psychobilly? And fanclubs?
- Yes! Since 1984! There were lots of Psychobilly bands in Brazil! Some are still playing, some not; some new bands come and goЕ And fan clubs? Only Psychoirado's!
- You help young Psycho commands?
- Sure! When we can do something for them, we always give help!
- Attitude to sports, in personally to football?
- We don't practice very much, we're just football fans! Cox and Vlad for Corinthians, and Gus for Atletico Paranaense!
- When it seems that nothing the unsuccessful day, poor mood receives.... What you do?
- We put everything on our music! That's why I think our music is so violent! We put every bad mood there!
